For the first time in the Republic of Moldova, on Dniester river a wrist with a weightiness of 12 kilogram’s was caught , using professional equipment!
NATIONAL CARP CHAMPIONSHIP. 1 STAGE. COMPLETED!
National Carp Championship (1st stage) has taken place on the lake near the village Gura Galbenei on 7-10th May 2009.
10 teams participated in the competitions.
Nevertheless cold and rainy weather on 7th May, when the temperature hardly exeeded 10C, thick drizzle and north wind, the participants of the competitions took the decision to stay and not to change the terms of the Championship. Ardour was immense but the wish to take part in sport peripeteias was definitely bigger.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday were sunny and warm, so the participants could enjoy beautiful weather and warm atmosphere of friendly rivalry.
10 teams participated in the competitions. Also novices were among them. It was the team «MEGA CARP». Its members were
awarded for the biggest fish. A beautiful 6, 7 kilo carp became a real decoration of the competitions.
After the final weighing places were distributed as follows:
- «СССР» (36,3 kilos)
- «Злой Карп» (19,3 kilos)
- «MAD CARP» (18,55 kilos).
- «АНГАР» (18, 3 kilos)
- «MEGACARP» (17 kilos)
- «CARP&FAMILY» (13, 55 kilos)
- «CARPFISHING.MD» (13, 05 kilos)
- «VVS» (5,75 kilos)
- «БОЛЬШОЙ ГРИЗЛИ» (4.55 kilos)
- «CARP FORCE» (2,6 kilos).
Gross weight of the caught fish made near 149 kilos (56 fishes). All the fish was weighed and according to the Rules it were let go back into the lake waters.
